DEADLINE FOR PROPOSALS: SEPTEMBER 15, 2010

Profiles Public Art Gallery, in partnership with Michael Herald, is pleased to announce a Call for Submissions for a Permanent Urban Art Feature to be located at the new Perron Courtyard building, on Perron Street in Perron District, Downtown St. Albert, AB.

This publicly accessible art feature will be integrated into the courtyard of the building which is due to be completed in November of 2010. The building incorporates 6,000 sq.ft. of commercial space that will house a blend of commercial businesses, an eatery and an outdoor courtyard. The courtyard will feature a Perron District light feature.

This call is an opportunity to honor St. Albert’s rich cultural and artistic diversity by highlighting Fleuri Perron: a historical figure, previous Mayor of St. Albert and the namesake of the street and district.
