The National Gallery of Canada is running an exciting art contest for teens in 2013!
For the third year in a row, the So You Want to Be an Artist contest offers aspiring artists aged 16 to 19 across Canada the chance to have their artwork showcased in the national spotlight.
Youth from across Canada are invited to submit a picture of their artwork and an artist statement to the contest website. This will be followed by a voting phase to determine the top 12 finalists.
Finalists will have their artwork displayed at the National Gallery of Canada where a panel of judges will choose three winners! We invite you to read more about the contest on the So You Want to Be an Artist website.
