Reporting to the Director, Arts Development, these positions are responsible for grant management and for providing policy and development services to the following Alberta Foundation for the Arts (AFA) grant streams:
As part of the Arts Development team, the successful candidates will support the growth of Alberta’s arts community by providing expert advice to internal and external stakeholders and contacts as it relates to Ministry and AFA policies, services, and strategies.
Arts Development Consultants are also responsible for implementing workshops and events that foster and augment sector growth across the province and for liaising with provincial and national contacts to ensure that Ministry and AFA strategies reflect current issues/trends in the arts industry.

The Communications Coordinator is charged with developing and delivering
consistent and cohesive messaging that speaks to Latitude’s various communities
and further develops on Latitude’s brand. You will work with our members, artists
and communities to share our story with Edmonton, Alberta and beyond in
innovative approaches. You will play a central role in development and
management of Latitude’s external communications, concentrating on media
relations, online communications and arts-sector specific communications, as well

This is a 0.7 full time position averaging approximately 24 hours per week and will
include some evenings and some weekend commitments. The position offers a rate
of pay of between $18.50 – $21.00 per hour.

Working in a collaborative, dynamic workplace the Operations Manager will support the Executive Artistic Director and Chief Operating Officer by applying their administrative knowledge and skills to support festival operations, financial and Human Resources along with running the day-to-day operations of the Works Society.This full time position is responsible for office administration, information technology, security and facility management and the orientation of staff, interns and volunteers. The successful candidate will administer fund/grant reporting, prepare work schedules and draft contracts as defined by projects and programming.
