Digital Engagement – Visual Communication Design
The LTA, Digital Engagement Visual Communication Design (VCD), will deliver and help design ACAD’s curricula in digital design and human interaction. It comes at a pivotal time as the School of Communication Design continues to innovate and increase value in its course offerings.

The Communications Coordinator is charged with developing and delivering
consistent and cohesive messaging that speaks to Latitude’s various communities
and further develops on Latitude’s brand. You will work with our members, artists
and communities to share our story with Edmonton, Alberta and beyond in
innovative approaches. You will play a central role in development and
management of Latitude’s external communications, concentrating on media
relations, online communications and arts-sector specific communications, as well
as engaging all institutional stakeholders including people of central and northern
This is a 0.7 full time position averaging approximately 24 hours per week and will
include some evenings and some weekend commitments. The position offers a rate
of pay of between $18.50 – $21.00 per hour.

Working in a collaborative, dynamic workplace the Operations Manager will support the Executive Artistic Director and Chief Operating Officer by applying their administrative knowledge and skills to support festival operations, financial and Human Resources along with running the day-to-day operations of the Works Society.This full time position is responsible for office administration, information technology, security and facility management and the orientation of staff, interns and volunteers. The successful candidate will administer fund/grant reporting, prepare work schedules and draft contracts as defined by projects and programming. Assistant/Associate Professor, Sculpture
The School of Visual Art invites applications for a permanent faculty position with a specialization in Sculpture. The successful candidate will design and deliver contemporary curriculum at all levels of the BFA Sculpture program, maintain an active professional/research/studio practice, and will support the College through committee work and academic governance. Candidates who demonstrate excellence in pedagogical initiatives in the classroom studio and who teach in other areas will be considered an asset. Additionally, ability to assume a leadership role within the department, a strong commitment to curriculum development, and an excellent understanding of contemporary art are especially desirable.
