Keith Harder’s art practice began in the highly developed art program at Three Hills High School and developed at the University of Calgary, the Alberta College of Art, and the University of Alberta.
He taught at the Universities of Alberta and Calgary before locating to Camrose in 1992 and is currently a professor at the Augustana Campus of the University of Alberta.
While his reputation in the art world has been based on a descriptive approach to painting and drawing, recent work has diverged to embrace other practices, including photography, sculpture and landscape installation.
