This exhibition is a community engagement project that includes both diverse artists and storytellers. The project integrated five intercultural story circles together with two community collage making workshops. The artists and storytellers represent the large range of Canadian identities, including Indigenous and immigrant perspectives.

First, we began with the question “What have you heard about us?” (the perceived ‘Other’). What do people base their stereotypes on? What are the consequences of stereotypes? And do we all experience and react to stereotypes in the same way?

February 22 – May 12.
